NET (Nottingham Express Transit) is Nottingham's state-of-the-art tram system and is based around the consistent and punctual timing of the whole network of public transportation around Nottingham.

The basis for this project was a statement made by the Nottingham Council that "any system which can aid in the coherent delivery of information to the average NET user is a welcome prospect for us".

Working on a secure internet link, the NET Information System can be attached to any upright structure such as building faces or lamp posts and gives a concise read-out of the local transport information.

As well as being an informative solution, the casing also houses a small CCTV unit capable of taking photographic evidence of abuse from vandals and other offenses commonly associated with transport stops.
