March 16th 2010 - Approached by Client
This contract began after we were approached by a new distributor to assess the posibility of completely new and unique product for their market. Arrangements were made to meet the following week as the client needed a new product urgently.
March 23rd 2010 - Deal Confirmed
After agreeing that the tooling costs, ownership of the design rights as well as intellectual property filing would be far too expensive for our client, we put together a unique deal. We would cover the costs of taking this product to a market ready stage if our client agreed to place a minimum annual order. This left no side in doubt of both performance of product and that of distribution. The concept was completed and signed off by the client (Stage 1).
April 2nd 2010 - Design Completed, Tooling Authorised
The final design was completed in a week, rendered in CAD and sent to our tool maker for approval. This happened very quickly and the tooling process began (Stage 2).
